  1. This is a favorite of mine. In a very tough time God had brought the beauty of His message in it for me. The “Yet” implies what has gone before, which makes it rich in purpose. In all forms of loss, we still have reason to dance.

    Hab.3:17 Though the fig tree should not blossom
    And there be no fruit on the vines,
    Though the yield of the olive should fail
    And the fields produce no food,
    Though the flock should be cut off from the fold
    And there be no cattle in the stalls,
    18 Yet I will exult in the LORD,

  2. Habakkuk serves God, (1)not for what God gave, but because He was God. (2)Hab. chose to rejoice even through verse 17, (3)Those who live by faith in God and trust in Him will have the victory. (4)Hab. learned to live by faith in God and to trust the wisdom of His ways.
