Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NIV)

“But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

    • In Him can we find such strength – we can trust in Him. Absolutely! For He loves us. As He told the lady at the well (and to us all) come to the well and drink and you will thirst no more? In Him we can find our rest and shelter. Blessings. Thank you for your encouragement and comment.

  1. Amen, “whose confidence is in Him” who is an ever present help in trouble. He has shown His faithfulness to me time and time again without fail. The Lord said He would pour out a blessing we cannot even contain and He does. Psalm 1 is a lovely reminder of this verse: “in his law does he meditate day and night”. When one reaches the point of being quiet in that confidence then the Lord can take control. Praise the Lord! Sometimes we need to be refined to reach the point of trust and we are left with a healthy fear of God which comes from wisdom and working out our own salvation.
